About the Event :

This fest is conducted with flying colors for Scintillating Vision In Science and Technology Advancements to the students of budding and  burgeoning engineering streams. The SREE VAHINI community is much enthused to organize sVISTa-2K15, 3rd National conference on various disciplines covering the areas in Science, Engineering, Technology and Management at SVIST on 6th, 7th Mach, 2015. We strongly believe that this fest helps the students for exchanging of ideas and creating a platform to demonstrate their research capabilities.

                 This fest stands for creating bright minds meet discover, learn and inspire in a sophisticated world class facility .There is always an enriching experience in the faculty of management endured throughout the year with workshops ,seminars ,conferences and other activities. We pleasantly invite all the technocrats throughout India herewith to participate.

1. Purpose of Paper Presentation: The purpose of the paper presentations is to give you experience with evaluating and summarizing relevant research papers, and making a 8-10 minute oral presentation of your understanding of the paper. Advocacy/persuasion

2. Purpose of Poster Presentation: 
 A poster presentation advertises your project. 
1. Clarity of content. 
2. Visual interest and accessibility

3. Purpose of Short Films:

1. Promotion of a director or film maker

2. Easy way to make a film with a small budget and few actors

3. Easy way for an actor to promote themselves

4. A good way to experiment controversial or new themes or plots

4. Purpose of the Dance Dhamaka:  
sociability and socializing are the primary focuses of the dancing.

5. Purpose of Technical Quiz:  
To bring out the hidden intellect of the students which gives stimulation to the learning process

6. Purpose of Project Expo:  
It enriches the  multifaceted talent in the young brains and can lead to a variety of innovations.

ELIGIBILITY

Students of Mech./EEE/ECE/CSE/IT of  B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/ME and MBA, MCA

Guidelines for Paper Presentation

* Each Paper Can have a maximum of three authors Paper should be neatly typed on A4 size paper with 1.5 margin on all four sides.

* Abstract should not exceed 250 words.

* The title of paper should be of font 16, Times New Roman Bold. The contents of the paper should be of font 12, Times New Roman with 1.5 line spacing.

* Two Hard Copies and One soft Copy in CD should be sent.

* LCD will be provided for Presentation.

Guidelines for Other Events

* Filmnutes : Should be theme based and duration is upto 10 minutes.

* Dance Dhamaka : Solo & Group

* Project Expo : Should be theme based and participant should come with required material.

* Poster Presentation : LCD will be provided for Presentation.

 

REGISTRATION

For Paper Presentation :

All the entries must be enclosed a registration fee in the form of D.D. worth Rs.200/- for only two authors. If more than two authors Rs. 100/- must be paid per author and a maximum of three authors per paper are allowed.

The crossed D.D. should be drawn on any Nationalized Bank infavour of

Principal, Sree Vahini Institute of Science & Tech, Payable AT Tiruvuru.

Spot Registration are also available for Technical Quiz, short film, Project Expo on 6th March 2015.

(Registration Fee of Rs.200/- per event) and other Dance Dhamaka on 7th March 2015.(Registration Fee of Rs.300/)

Date of Intimation for Selected Candidates : 3-03-2015

Date of Presentation for Project Expo, Technical Quiz,
